It's no longer a breaking news that Facebook now have a new feature in its messenger,which is the "Dark mode" feature. This article is going to let you know how to enable the "Dark mode" on Facebook messenger. But the bad news is that this feature is not available in Nigeria yet and many other countries and the good news is that we've got this fixed for you.
The procedures on how to enable the "Dark mode" is as easy as you can imagine,as it has been shown to us by the owner of Qualytech blog. Let me not bore you with the long stories,as I show the steps below.
Here are the steps on how to enable the "Dark mode" on Facebook messenger.

How To Enable Facebook Dark Mode On Facebook messenger

• Launch your Facebook messenger, open any chat,then send a moon emoji like this:
After sending it,you will see a pop up message at the top that reads "You found Dark mode!"

• Just below that,there will be a button with "Turn on in settings" written on it, tap on it.

• As soon as you tap on the button,it will take you to Facebook messenger settings where you will see a new option called "Dark mode" you will have a toggle button right next to it,tap it to enable the Dark mode.

Its not a compulsory that the pop up message "You found Dark mode!" will come up, so in case after sending  the moon emoji and you didn't see it,you can go to your Facebook messenger settings to check for the "Dark mode". And in case you sent the moon emoji once and you didn't see the " Dark mode" option in the settings, you can continue sending it to different chats, it will surely come up.

Now to fix the issue of the "Dark mode" feature not being available in Nigeria and many other countries, I will advise you to use a VPN app. In my case, I used "Tunnel Bear VPN". You can download it here. After the download,login or sign up, select United Kingdom as your country or region,then connect in the " Tunnel Bear VPN". Now after you've connected the "Tunnel Bear VPN", you can now follow the steps above to enable the Facebook messenger Dark mode.
